Zero to Three Programs

It is easy to explain the mission of ZERO TO THREE: It exists to help children develop a solid intellectual, emotional, and social foundation in their first three years. A national, nonprofit, charitable organization, it provides support and information for parents, education professionals, medical and developmental practitioners, and communities.

  • Your baby's developing skills
  • Finding child care
  • Your child's temperament
Parents can find a complete list of topics—Parenting A-Z—on the organization's Web site.

For professionals, ZERO TO THREE provides information about:
  • Brain development
  • Child care (e.g., "How to Choose Quality Child Care," "Improving Infant-Toddler Child Care for Low-income Families")
  • Child development
  • The ZERO TO THREE National Training Institute and annual conference
