In today's world, the media is often the most effective tool for spreading important messages. So, the Philanthropies use media tools to support education on such key issues as health care and the environment.
Ongoing media projects include:
- Health Week, a half-hour weekly public television series devoted to health issues
- EnvironMinute, a one-minute feature radio broadcast that builds public understanding of environmental and health-related issues
- World ECO Minute
Previous projects have included the critically acclaimed Rachael's Daughters, the story of seven breast-cancer victims or survivors working to unearth the causes of the breast-cancer epidemic.
