The John Heinz Senate Fellowship Program (December, 2004)

The John Heinz Senate Fellowship Program identifies and trains new leaders in issues affecting seniors. This year the Heinz Family philanthropies would like to congratulate Nancy L. Falk, the 2004-2005 John Heinz Senate Fellow. Nancy is a doctoral student in the College of Nursing and Health Science at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where her primary focus is healthy aging of older workers.

The Teresa Heinz Scholars for Environmental Research, 2004-2005 (June 2004)

The Teresa Heinz Scholars for Environmental Research program provides enhancement support for doctoral dissertation and master's thesis (or project) research. A total of 16 one-time, one-year awards are offered annually: eight $10,000 awards for doctoral dissertation support and eight $5,000 awards for master's thesis support. We are proud to announce this year's winners and thank them for their commitment to increasing society's understanding of environmental concerns while proposing solutions.
